Mamo Clark's most famous film role is the native girl Clark Gable falls in love with in "Mutiny on the Bounty" (1935). Her exotic looks guranteed her steady work in island pictures like "Wallaby Jim of the Islands" (1937); a film that inspired Paul Hogan's Crocodile Dundee character.
Clark's only serial was Republic's "Robinson Crusoe of Clipper Island" (1937). She played an island princess out to rid her island of it's enemies.
